ALLEGIANT STADIUM
Richardson Wetzel Architects had the privilege of serving as the Local Consulting Architect to the Architect of Record, HNTB, during the design and construction of the new Mortenson McCarthy J.V. constructed Allegiant Stadium. Working closely with the entire A/E team, we leveraged our understanding of architecture in the local Mojave Desert for the compelling design by Manica Architecture for this new state of the art 65,000 seat stadium, the largest of its kind in Nevada, featuring a translucent roof, an exterior glass curtain wall system, and a retractable natural grass playing field. Operable glass doors provide an 80' high by 200' wide unobstructed view of the strip. There are multiple VIP clubs, including three at the field level. The Al Davis memorial torch is 93' tall and is currently awaiting official designation as the worlds tallest 3D printed structure. RWA is proud to be a part of the Raider Nation as we welcome our newest home team to Las Vegas.
